The Cabin is positioned in a secluded part of Neaum Crag at Skelwith Bridge. Once parked you descend the steps to the garden area, perfect for a picnic or to watch the local red squirrels.
The gentle breeze rustling through the trees and nearby beck adds to the cabin’s soundscape and helps make the patio area a tranquil place to relax.
Open Plan Lounge, Kitchen & Dining Area
Entering The Cabin you are greeted with an open plan lounge, kitchen and dining area.
The kitchen is fully equipped with fan oven, fridge freezer and microwave, the cupboards are fully stocked with crockery and cutlery.
Be sure to relax in the open plan lounge, it is warm, cosy and comfortable, snuggle up in front of the fire and watch a movie or listen to some music on the sound system. In the summer months you may wish to sit back with the patio doors open and listen to the running water of the nearby stream, better yet, relax on the deck on the hardwood patio furniture.
Bedroom One (Double)
The cabin comfortably sleeps five, with two double rooms. Bedroom one is equiped with a double bed and fully fitted wardrobe. Enough for all your clothing for your stay, be sure to take note of the large blanket should you wish to sit outside and take in the night sky!
Bedroom Two (Double + Bunk)
Bedroom two is another double bedroom. This room comes with an additional single bunk bed that sits above the end of the double bed. This bedroom also benefits from a full size double wardrobe, big enough for all your clothing during your stay.
The Bathroom
The Bathroom sits between the two bedrooms with everything you will need, including a walk-in shower.
We had an amazing week at Ullswater Cabin. The cabin itself was perfect for a week for a family of 4 with children aged 7 and 10. They loved the table tennis and pool facilities. The location of the cabin is great both on the site itself and within the lakes. We didn’t need to drive for more than 20 minutes to go anywhere (we could have if we wanted to but didn’t need to) and fitted so much into one week. Would definitely recommend.

Claire's review of Ullswater Cabin
The property was very cosy and quite serene. There’s plenty of activities in the surrounding area and lovely walks straight from the door of the cabin. Overall brilliant place to stay. Thank you!
We have returned to Ullswater Cabin for a second consecutive year now, and the Cabin once again did not disappoint. Very clean, and simply beautiful, with the most peaceful location. There was very good organisation and contact from the hosts John and Allison, and we certainly hope to return again next year.
